Salary of 1,740 a month without increments plus 333.33 expatriation pay, total $2,073.33 a month, plus cost of living allowance which is at present $340 a month for a married officer without children maintaining a wife, or $255 for a single officer, Gratuity of F600 for each three months of service payable on

termination of contract (1 R.K. dollar equivalent to 18.34.).

Appointment has to be filled urgently. If person named accepts and la fit gratefuld ff je voula arrange dirooù air passage as soon as possible, advising Governor, Hong Kong and myself of date of departure.
